SPECIAL Neighborhood Meeting About the Rezoning of Avondale Parcel - Thurs. April 4, 2013, 7 p.m.

At our last neighborhood meeting, we had an attorney representing the owners of the Avondale property present to discuss possible zoning changes to that parcel. At this meeting we learned that the owners were amenable to signing off on any zoning designation that would change the property from an O-I (Office Institutional) to something a little more compatible with our neighborhood. This is going to come before the NPU and the attorney has written and asked that the issue be deferred for now while we discuss this as a community.
Right now I am setting a meeting for 4/4 at 7:00 at the Baptist Church where we normally have our regular meetings. This is an important meeting where we will hash out a plan/vision for the property in question.
